2015, collected paper
BLANK BOOK is compiled of blank papers collected from the books from my personal collection.
I noticed that some books, especially old paperbacks, contain one or two blank pages.
Unlike the flyleaf or end paper which connects the cover and the body of the book, these empty pages seem to be of no use.
Someone told me later that these blank pages were inserted by printers to even out the page count, which often required for the book binding.
I have collected these blank papers by cutting them carefully without damaging the books and bound them together making a book of its own.
Each paper has a different texture and colour, and the aging of each book is recorded in a discoloured paper.
